At the entrance to the oasis of peace and magnificent views - Lazar’s Canyon, you will be greeted by Lazar’s or Zlot Cave. According to legend, this cave is named after Prince Lazar, intertwining with the historical and cultural identity of this area. What makes it special are numerous stalagmites and stalactites of unusual shapes and forms. One such formation resembles a bison. This natural sculpture further enriches the experience of the visit, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to marvel at natural wonders
Lazar’s Cave belongs to the category of river caves. The total length of the channel is 9,505 m, and 800 m of the path is arranged for tourist visits. This is not only a destination for nature lovers but also a true archaeological and speleological treasure. Location:
It is located near the village of Zlot, 18 km from Bor.
How to Get There:
To reach Bor, take the A1 highway exit at Paraćin towards Zaječar, then take road 36 through Čestobrodica. To reach Lazareva Cave, take road 37: Bor - Brestovačka Banja - the village of Zlot. In the village of Zlot, switch to road 392, which will take you directly to the cave. The drive will take you about 25 minutes from Bor to the cave.
