Welcome to the festival that brings back the original sound: Save the Bagpipes and Old Games from oblivion! It takes place in the second half of September in the village of Rudna Glava (Majdanpek).
This event gathers talented bagpipers from Serbia and the surrounding areas, creating a diversity of original sounds echoing through the hilly landscapes of Rudna Glava. Bagpipes, as traditional instruments, become the main protagonists of the festival, and every note played on these old instruments becomes a valuable part of the heritage.
Organized by the Cultural Artistic Society Rudna Glava, with the support of the local community and the municipality of Majdanpek, the festival begins with a parade of participants. Participants in authentic costumes, with their bagpipes, present a part of the tradition, and visitors have the opportunity to hear authentic sounds.
"Save the Bagpipes and Old Games from oblivion" promotes traditional music but also revives old games that are part of the cultural heritage of this region.
Experience the authenticity of melodies and games that preserve the soul of this area.
