Anyone who loved and read fairy tales as a child will feel like stepping into one.
Discover the beauties of eastern Serbia by exploring Beli Izvorac, a natural monument located right next to the river of the same name, not far from Majdanpek. The geomorphological characteristics of this site place it at the forefront of Serbia's geological heritage, and once you visit, you'll understand why.
Beli Izvorac is a unique work of nature, with its tufa accumulation and karst relief. You can expect tall waterfalls, tranquil ponds along the river, mysterious caves, and a waterfall about 16 meters high.
In the streambed leading to Beli Izvorac, numerous barriers made of tufa accompany you. Behind these barriers, tufa accumulations are formed. The stream freely flows over these barriers, creating waterfalls and smaller cascades.
The path to Beli Izvorac takes you through a marked forest trail, 1,800 meters long, starting at the fishpond next to the road, where parking is available. It takes about 45 minutes (at a leisurely pace) to walk to the waterfall.
Why visit Beli Izvorac? Because this corner of nature offers a unique combination of waterfalls, cascades, ponds, and caves, making it a place for relaxation, exploration, and connection with untouched nature. Here, you'll find peace and inspiration, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
