Every treasure is hidden, but when found, every effort pays off. In an oasis of nature and peace, surrounded by greenery and clean air, awaits the Blederija waterfall. This place is a true paradise for nature lovers and adventurers who want to escape the everyday hustle and bustle of city life.
Standing approximately 7 meters tall, it descends into an emerald-colored pool. The water cascading from the height creates a natural symphony of colors and sounds. Crystal-clear water, refreshing air, and the scent of nature make this place perfect for relaxation and recharging.
In 2019, Blederija waterfall was declared a protected area of the II category - as a natural monument.
The approach to the waterfall leads through a forest rich in plant and animal life. The journey to Blederija is not just a meeting with the waterfall but also an adventure through a natural reserve where every step brings a new picture of beauty.
The more adventurous can opt for an adventurous approach and spend the day exploring the area around the waterfall. Upstream from the waterfall, about 2 kilometers away, are the sources of the Blederija River, while about 2.5 kilometers away from the waterfall is the Sokolovica Cave with a hot spring. An interesting fact about this area is that it was once a shortcut on the Roman road from Poreč, over Miroč, to the Danube and Ključ until Trajan broke through the Kazan.
Blederija is not just a destination for nature lovers. Photographers will find their paradise in every frame, trying to capture the perfect moment of the waterfall and the surrounding beauty.
For those seeking a moment of peace, Blederija offers the perfect place: sitting on the rocks overlooking the waterfall and listening to the sounds of nature seems like a meditative experience that frees the mind from stress and worries.
