Beneath the southern slopes of Kučaj, from the shade of three caves, emerges the crystal-clear river, Black Timok. This source location is called Pećura. Along the Timok springs, the riverbanks are arranged for enjoyment and barbecues under the shade of birch trees. With smiles from the locals, you often hear stories about the many legends of this area, as well as how the Timok Rebellion erupted right here in 1883.
